46-year-old James M. Welge of Taylorville was arrested Tuesday for Driving while License Revoked.
23-year-old Brandon L.S. Campbell of Taylorville was arrested Tuesday for Driving while License Suspended.
On Wednesday, the Taylorville Police Department reported the following accidents to Regional Radio News:
59-year-old Ronald R. Holsopple of Taylorville was driving south on North 1600 Road on May 22nd when he pulled up to the intersection with Route 29. He pulled into the roadway on Route 29, not seeing the ambulance driven by Richard A. Moon of Lakewood and t-boning the ambulance. No one sought medical treatment from the accident.
21-year-old Chandler D. Bollman of Philo was driving westbound on Route 29 Sunday, approaching the intersection with Bidwell. 31-year-old Joseph P. Lybarger of Taylorville was stopped on Bidwell at Route 29 and turned right onto Route 29 in front of Bollman. Lybarger immediately stopped to attempt to turn on to Taft when Bollman did not stop, rear-ending Lybarger. No one was hurt.
69-year-old Judith K. Kaydus was driving southbound behind 56-year-old Todd J. Beaty on Sunday on Lincoln Trail, and both cars were attempt to turn right onto E. Park Street. Kaydus says she thought Beaty had turned and started to turn herself when she rear-ended Beaty. No one was hurt.
Sarah Norris of Taylorville was coming out of Taco Bell Sunday when she noticed there was a dent and scuff mark on the passenger side quarter panel of her car. She reported the incident to Taylorville Police.
On Wednesday, the Christian County Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests to Regional Radio News:
35-year-old Crystal L. Jacobs of Springfield was arrested on a Bond Forfeiture warrant. Bond is set at $3,000.
30-year-old Sarah M. Marta of Edinburg was arrested on a Bond Forfeiture warrant. Bond is set at $1,000.
39-year-old Clifford R. Taylor of Taylorville was arrested on a Bond Forfeiture warrant. Bond is set at $2,000.
26-year-old Cassaundra A. Sphar of Taylorville was arrested on a Bond Forfeiture warrant. Bond is set at $2,000.
On Wednesday, the Christian County Sheriff’s Office reported the following accident to Regional Radio News:
71-year-old Charles D. Currie of Coffeen was driving east-bound on Route 16 near 2250 East Saturday when a deer ran into the roadway. He hit the deer, but was not hurt.
