Area Arrests/Accidents 3/13/17

On Monday the Christian County Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests to Regional Radio News.

 

43 year old George T. Bailey of Kincaid was arrested Saturday for domestic battery, criminal damage to property, and violating an order of protection.

 

56 year old Jerry L. Shaff of Tower Hill was arrested Sunday for possession of methamphetamine, and criminal damage to property.

 

20 year old Joseph M. Rhodes of Pana was arrested Saturday for theft, and several other offenses.

 

24 year old Jared P. Lebon of Pana was arrested Friday on a bond forfeiture warrant with bond set at $1,500.

 

24 year old Brady P. Knight of Morrisonville was arrested Sunday on a bond forfeiture warrant with bond set at $5,000.

 

29 year old Jacob W. Garrett of Taylorville was arrested Friday on a bond forfeiture warrant with bond set at $2,500.

 

37 year old Jeremy L. Walker of Morrisonville was arrested Friday on an original arrest warrant with bond set at $300.

 

26 year old Brent L. Musser of Rosamond was arrested Saturday for driving on a suspended license.

 

25 year old Blake A. Griffin of Taylorville was arrested Sunday for violating a sex offender registration.

 

40 year old Johnny E. Weber of Pana was arrested Friday on a bond forfeiture warrant with bond set at $200.

 

32 year old Zachary J. Boyle of Sullivan was arrested Friday on a bond forfeiture warrant with bond set at $2,000.

 

 

On Monday the Taylorville Police Department reported the following arrests to Regional Radio News.

 

19 year old Steven S. Frost of Taylorville, 20 year old Logan J. Wilson of Stonington, and 21 year old Krystin D. Rodman of Taylorville were arrested on Saturday for criminal trespass to property.


 

Accidents:

 

17 year old Jacob T. Latonis of Pana was traveling west from Pana towards Rosamond on Route 16. At about 2150 East, 26 year old Brent L. Musser of Rosamond was traveling at a high rate of speed, came up behind Latonis, and struck Latonis’ vehicle. Musser fled the scene, but Latonis was able to follow Musser back to a residence in Rosamond. Latonis spoke with Musser as he exited the vehicle, and was able to identify Musser by name and description.

 

16 year old Robert L. Jennings was traveling west on 1300 North Road. Jennings stated that when he came through the intersection, the road surface turned to gravel, and he lost control of the vehicle, which ultimately overturned. No injuries were reported.


25 year old Stormy M. Jonas of Casey was traveling south on Rt. 29. 18 year old Marissa J. Borgic of Morrisonville came to a stop at the intersection of 1600 East, and Route 29. Borgic looked to the left, but failed to look right before pulling across Route 29. Borgic hit Jonas causing damage to both vehicles. No injuries were reported.
