Area Arrests/Accidents 2/21/17

On Tuesday the Christian County Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests to Regional Radio News.

 

27 year old Jesse W. Demascal of Pana was arrested Saturday on a bond forfeiture warrant with bond set at $3,000.

 

40 year old Chad M. Roberts of Taylorville was arrested over the weekend for DUI.

 

43 year old Heather Obil of Taylorville was arrested over the weekend for DUI.


 

On Tuesday the Taylorville Police Department reported the following arrests to Regional Radio News.

 

26 year old Miranda R. Lane of Sullivan was arrested Sunday on a bond forfeiture warrant with bond set at $3,000.

 

53 year old Kevin J. Quick of Taylorville was arrested Saturday for DUI.

 

38 year old Josh M. Sams of Taylorville was arrested Friday for criminal trespass.

 

37 year old Keri C. Ellis of Taylorville was arrested Friday for criminal trespass.

 

37 year old Corradan D. Orr of Kincaid was arrested Monday for driving with a suspended license, operating an uninsured vehicle, operating a vehicle with suspended registration, and possession of cannabis.

 

23 year old Edgar Fernandez-Huerta of Taylorville was arrested Monday for driving with a suspended license.

 

44 year old Ty E. Nationa of Taylorville was arrested Sunday for battery.


 

Accidents:

 

43 year old James A. Peacock of Taylorville was traveling north on 800 East road. Peacock missed a curve in the roadway, then ran off the roadway, striking a utility pole causing damage to the pole and the vehicle. No injuries were reported.

 

30 Beau T. Jackson of Effingham was turning left into a residence drive off of state highway 104. Jackson stated he had his turn signal on to turn into the drive when 23 year old Samantha J. Woods of Kincaid struck the rear of his trailer. Woods said she didn’t see the turn signal, and couldn’t stop to avoid striking the vehicle. No injuries were reported.


34 year old Kathryn J. Kohl of Taylorville was traveling north east on IL Rt. 48. At approximately 295 north, Kohl crossed the southbound lane and left the roadway. After leaving the roadway, Kohl traveled about 150 feet into the field before coming to a stop. Kohl advised that the last thing she remembered before waking up in her car in the field, was traveling through Harvel, about two miles south of where she drove off the roadway. Kohl said she had not eaten that day prior to the crash, and had felt light headed. No injures were reported.
