The Shelby County Sheriff's Office reports that a single car accident occurred on Illinois Route 32 on December 24th at 4 in the morning in Prairie Township.   A car driven by 51-year-old Cheryl L. Longwell of Stewardson was found at her residence. She was charged with leaving the scene of an accident and failing to report the accident.

Shelby County Sheriff's Officials also reported a traffic stop in Ridge Township on Thursday at 11 in the evening.  20-year-old Robert Chepen of Moweaqua and 18-year-old Austin Black of Assumption, were both arrested for possession of a small amount of cannabis.  Both were issued citations and released.

And the Shelby County Sheriff's Office reported being called to a residence in Windsow on Thursday evening at eleven o'clock.  During a domestic disturbance, 20-year-old Justin Long of Windsor was arrested for illegal consumption of alcohol.  No complaint was signed against Long regarding the domestic disturbance.
