On Thursday the Christian County Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests to Regional Radio News.
28 year old Keisha N. Anderson of Pana was arrested on Wednesday on a bond forfeiture warrant for contempt of court. Bond was set at $50,000.
35 year old Donald R. Minard of Tower Hill was arrested on Wednesday for violating an order of protection.
24 year old Stephanie M. Couty of Pana was arrested on Thursday for DUI.
On Thursday the Taylorville Police Department reported the following arrests to Regional Radio News.
45 year old Gabriel I. Crews of Taylorville was arrested on Thursday for unlawful use of a weapon and resisting a peace officer.
ACCIDENTS:
92 year old Robert E. Smith of Stonington was traveling westbound in the Springfield Clinic parking lot. 56 year old Eva M. Carlile of Blue Mound was traveling southbound in the Springfield Clinic parking lot. Smith stated he attempted to stop to avoid striking Carlile, but his vehicle accelerated instead. Smith struck Carlile’s vehicle in the parking lot. Smith’s vehicle sustained front end driver side damage and Carlile’s vehicle sustained driver side quarter panel damage. No injuries were reported.
43 year old Beverly A. Miller of Taylorville stated she was traveling northbound on IL Rt. 29 at the intersection with Sunset Dr. Miller stated she was following another vehicle which struck a deer. Miller stated she drove over the deer after it was struck by the unknown vehicle, causing significant damage to the front and undercarriage of her vehicle. Miller drove away from the scene and reported the crash later in the evening.
