Area Arrests/Accidents 11/14/16

On Monday the Christian County Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests to Regional Radio News.

 

37 year old Richard E. Ritz of Springfield was arrested on Saturday for driving with a suspended license, as well as on a bond forfeiture warrant for an issuance of warrant. Bond was set at $3,000.

 

30 year old Pamela J. Rozplochowski of Taylorville was arrested on Friday for IVC Felonies.

 

44 year old Jason E. Heberling of Taylorville was arrested on Saturday for an uncased gun and an illegal hunting device. Bond was set at $150.

 
 

ACCIDENTS:

 

28 year old Richard A. Clardy of Pana drove a vehicle off the roadway striking a rock pile at the intersection of County Road 6 and 1200 North Road. Clardy’s vehicle rolled over from hitting the rock and came to rest in the ditch prior to getting to 1200 North. Clardy stated that he had been drinking, and was taken to Pana Community Hospital to be treated for injuries.

 

45 year old Robert F. Campbell of Irving was southbound on Township Road 500 East. Campbell lost control and went into the ditch on the west side of the roadway. Campbell struck a field culvert causing the truck to flip over on it’s side. Campbell left the scene before authorities arrived on scene. Campbell stated he had been drinking, and was issued a citation for leaving the scene of a property damage accident. No injuries were reported.

 

17 year old Blake A. Luka of Blue Mound was traveling from McAdams Drive and turning onto East Ester Street. Luka said he was adjusting the radio and made the turn too soon. Luka made a right turn onto Norfolk Southern Railroad tracks, and traveled about 100 feet before becoming stuck on the railroad track. Norfolk Southern was notified and sent personnel to check the tracks. No injuries were reported.

 

16 year old Maddison L. Wilson of Taylorville was traveling north on Madison St. Wilson advised that she stopped at the stop sign at which time a subject to her left driving a truck waved for her to go. She said she then proceeded into the intersection at which time she collided with 32 year old Ashley L. Rockford of Taylorville. Rockford was traveling westbound on Poplar St. and was not obligated to stop as this isn’t a four way intersection. No injuries were reported.

 

35 year old Robert M. Shake of Taylorville was southbound on IL Rt 29 ¼ mile south of Lake Taylorville entrance. Shake stated a deer had ran into the roadway, and he was unable to avoid striking the deer. No injuries were reported.
