On Wednesday the Taylorville Police Department reported the following arrests to Regional Radio News.

19 year old Charles R. Lair of Taylorville was arrested for driving with a suspended license, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, and resisting a peace officer.

ACCIDENTS

On October 14th, 54 year old Ernest F. Cox of Springfield and 39 year old Stephanie S. Stivers of Taylorville were both eastbound, stopped in traffic waiting on the light to turn green. 18 year old Kaitlin E. Poe of Greenup was closing in behind Cox, and failed to stop in time and struck Cox from behind. The force pushed Cox into Stivers. Poe was transported to Taylorville Memorial Hospital to be treated for injuries.
