On Monday the Christian County Sheriff’s Department reported the following arrests to Regional Radio News.
31 year old James T. Lewis of Springfield was arrested on Friday on a bond forfeiture warrant for Domestic Battery. Bond was set at $3500.
29 Year old Camron J. Jiannoni of Riverton was arrested on Friday for driving on a suspended license.
20 year old Bradley J. Bergschneider of Findlay was arrested on Friday on a bond forfeiture warrant. Bond was set at $2000.
36 year old Kevin M. Swinburne of Taylorville was arrested on a bond forfeiture warrant for possession of methamphetamine. Bond was set at $5000.
31 year old Bradley D. Merritt of Pana was arrested on Saturday on a bond forfeiture warrant for driving on a suspended license, as well as contempt of court. Bond was set at $5000.
27 year old Jodi M. Lenover of Dalton City was arrested on Saturday for violating an order of protection.
30 year old Raymond D. Thompson of Taylorville was arrested on Saturday for criminal damage to property.
29 year old Jeremy L. Cole of Pana was arrested on Saturday for domestic battery, as well as on a bond forfeiture warrant for aggravated DUI. Bond was set at $3000.
51 year old Earl W. Morgan of Taylorville was arrested on Sunday for unlawful restraint, possession of a controlled substance, as well as criminal damage to property.
34 year old Lorna A. Smith of Taylorville was arrested on Sunday for possession of a controlled substance.
25 year old Chadwick R. Barlow of Taylorville was arrested on Sunday for violation of an order of protection.
ACCIDENTS
On 5/17/16 16 year old Elizabeth I. Walton was traveling south on Main Street in a 1999 Toyota Camry, and approached the intersection of Main and Vine Streets. 16 year old Albina Letnila of Taylorville was traveling west on Vine Street in a 2010 Mercedes E350, and did not yield to Walton, causing a collision. Walton had to be towed from the scene.
On 5/17/16 77 year old Irene A. Kowalski of Pana was traveling west on Park Street in a 2012 Nissan Cube, and had slowed for traffic at the intersection of Park and Cherokee Streets. 17 year old Tyler R. Brandy of Bulpitt, who was behind Kowalski in a 2003 Ford Truck, was not able to stop in time and struck Kowalski, causing damage. Both vehicles were able to drive away from the scene.
