Missions for Taylorville has announced it has an on-line portal to accept monetary donations, to go toward repairs on homes damaged by the December 1 tornado.  Click on the link below:

Gagne Building Updating Hours:

For those who are interested in collecting donations, or making a donation at the Gagne Building on West Spresser across from the Christian County Fairgrounds, there are new hours. Current hours are Tuesdays and Thursdays 10am - 2pm and Saturdays 10am - 2pm. If you are unable to come in during these times, please call 217-287-7946 to make other arrangements. Building supplies are still available- Lumber, nails, drywall, etc..

 

Taylorville City Water Dept Announcement:

Due to the recent events, the Water Dept is not charging disconnect or reconnect fees for individuals that are temporally needing their water service discontinued. We will also not charge the $30 CSF for individuals that are temporally relocated. People need to call the Water Office in order to let us know the status of the situation.(217)- 824-2919
