Raiders Boys Basketball Struggle In Second Half Against Edinburg

Central A&M provided lockdown defense in the first half limiting the Wildcats to just 10 points headed into half. The Raiders offense provided just enough to take a 7 point lead into the First Christian Church of Moweaqua Halftime show. Talon Rhoades had 7+ steals in the first two quarters alone on his way to a Seitz Funeral Homes Player of the Game recognition.

 

Central A&M – 17 vs. Edinburg – 10 (Halftime)

 

The third quarter was detrimental to the Raiders’ hopes of winning as they were outscored 26 – 12. The Wildcats canned 5 shots from beyond the arc and took a lead they never looked back from. Norris for the Edinburg Wildcats led all scorers with 18 points on the night.

Edinburg – 4 – 7 overall
