The Taylorville Baseball team held their end of the year banquet recognizing their letter winners, all conference, and all honor players. Maxx Grieme, a junior for Taylorville High school, was named the Nicole Patrick Country Financial Player of the year for his hard work at the plate and behind the dish. According to Maxpreps, Grieme finished with a .449 batting average, .603 On base percentage, hit 2 homers, stole 11 bases, and had a .993 fielding percentage.
Grieme says that everyone put in hard work during the offseason, where everyone stepped up.
Taylorville finished the season 19-10. Colton Gatton, Grieme, Jacob McWard, Clark Durbin, Blake Ladage, and Baron Odam were named to the All-Conference team. Congratulations to the Taylorville Baseball players on a successful season!
