The Taylorville Lady Tornadoes hadn't been home since Thanksgiving and welcomed the Springfield Senators to Town on Friday night with a big win at home. The Lady Tornadoes jumped out to a 20-4 lead at the end of the first quarter, before Springfield came storming back. The Senators used a 20-9 third quarter and even got within 3 points in the fourth but Grace Rogers had herself a huge day at the free throw line and the Tornadoes clung to a victory 63-56.
Addison Tarr was named the Nicole Patrick Country Financial Agent Player of the Game with 19 points. Mazie Fleming, Kyleigh Heimsness, and Rogers all had fantastic games as well.
The Taylorville Lady Tornadoes will welcome (Weather permitting!) Williamsville to Taylorville on Tuesday at 6 PM.
