The Taylorville Tornado boys varsity basketball squad goes down to the Effingham Hearts 50-46 in Thursday night's match-up. It was a hard-fought defensive game in which Taylorville led 22 - 12 at the half. Effingham came out with a new life in the third and fourth quarters and secured the victory. Taylorville looks ahead to this Saturday at 2:30 to play Canton away.
