Randy Arozarena went 2 for 5 with a homerun and St. Louis Cardinals pitcher Miles Mikolas went 2 innings giving up 9 hits and 6 earned runs as the Seattle Mariners defeated the Cards 10-4 in the rubber game of the series. A five run first inning would be all the Mariners needed as they would tack on two more in the second, fifth, and one in the ninth.
Cardinals catcher Ivan Herrera went 2-4 with two runs and Nolan Arenado would go 1-2 with a hit and a run scored but a rough outing for the Cardinals who have won 6 out of their last 10 and are currently 72-71, 10 games out of first.
The Cardinals welcome the Cincinnati Reds to town for a three game set before heading out to Toronto. Listen to all games on WTIM The Big 870.
