WTIM along with Nicole Patrick of Country Financial have announced their Baseball player of the year.  Colton Gatton was named the Player of the Year for his successes on the field. The sophomore pitcher enjoyed his season and says that things started off slow but the team really started to gel by the end of the season. 

Gatton praised his teammates and credited them with his award.  He says he's looking forward to next year.

The Tornadoes finished 14-19 on the season.  Games were broadcast on New Country 104.1.  Thanks Nicole Patrick of Country Financial and WTIM for their sponsorship of the Taylorville Player of the Game and Colton Gatton Taylorville Baseball Player of the Year.
