WTIM along with Nicole Patrick of Country Financial have announced their softball player of the year.  Peyton DeMichael was named the Player of the Year for her successes on the field. The sophomore says they made the best of a long season and she's proud of her accomplishments.

DeMichael finished with a 4.50 ERA, 0.968 fielding percentage, .417 batting average, a .486 slugging percentage and a .450 on base percentage.
