The Taylorville High School Varsity Girls bowling team recently competed in the Highland High School Queens tournament in Highland at Poplar Junction Lanes. The THS girls finished in fourth place with two Lady Tornadoes placing in the top 20.

Junior Kylie Callaway tied for fourth place overall, while Sophomore bowler Kierstyn Diehl finished in fifteenth place for the three-game tournament. Senior bowler, Amie Dye, tied with three other girls for nineteenth place.

THS senior Amie Dye and junior Saule Simonyte were recognized before the tournament for their contributions to the THS girls’ team throughout their bowling careers at Taylorville High School.
