Shelbyville High School Football Head Coach Shares Playoffs Thoughts

Shelbyville High School Football finished the regular season with a record of 8-1 and now prepares for round one of the Central Illinois Conference Playoffs. Taking their only loss to Nashville High School last Friday has not discouraged the team, says Bill Duckett Head Coach of the Shelbyville Rams.

Coach Duckett spoke live on the Prairie Farms Pigskin Playoff Preview on Saturday and spoke about Friday's loss, predicted second-seed reactions, and how the community has responded to the successful Shelbyville Football team.

Shelbyville is no stranger to the playoff spotlight as last year the Rams finished 9-2. Coach Duckett expands on his team's winning record this year.

Duckett describes his favorite moment from the season, winning the conference for the first time in 30 years, and the community support.

The Shelbyville Rams Football team looks to their first match-up for round one of the playoffs, taking on Wesclin High School, on Friday at 1:00 P.M. at home.
