COVID-19 causing cancellations to Taylorville’s basketball schedule. 

Monday night’s boys basketball game against Jacksonville canceled. Taylorville Athletic Director Jason Hadley sent out a laundry list of new cancellations Tuesday. 

The Taylorville’s shootout game against Jerseyville on Saturday, Jan 8th, is cancelled. The boys rescheduled game for Tuesday the 11th against Triad is also canceled. These are non-conference games and are unlikely to be re-scheduled. As of Tuesday afternoon, the shootout will take place Saturday without Taylorville’s participation. 

Taylorville girls basketball is quarantined until Thursday the 13th, canceling Tuesday’s game at Williamsville and Saturday’s game at Auburn. Tuesday the 11th at Effingham will be postponed. Because this is a conference match-up, the game at Effingham will likely be re-scheduled. 

All other non-conference games listed above are assumed to be canceled with no makeups scheduled unless noted otherwise.
