Taylorville Gets Big Road Win at Mahomet-Seymour

 On Friday night, the Taylorville Tornado football team stole a win on the road against the Mahomet-Seymour Bull Dogs. After a close first half that saw the Tornadoes lead 22 to 20, they started the 3rd quarter of with a bang as Justin Wright scored his second touchdown of the day. That pushed the score up to 30-20 after a successful 2-point conversion, and the Tornadoes never looked back. They secured one more Touchdown in the 4th quarter by Jack Kettelkamp, and the final score was 38-26. Head coach Jeb Odam spoke on the big conference win post-game.

 

 

Quarterback Brandom Odam had another big game helping propel Taylorville to a 4-0 start. Jeb Odam had high praise for his quarterback after the game.

 

 

The Tornadoes improved to 4-0 after the win and 2-0 in the apollo conference. They’re back on the road next Friday to take on Lincoln.
