The University of Illinois is going to lose another key player on the basketball court. This time they aren’t transferring, rather turning pro. Leron Black told the university that he’s forgoing his senior season and will prepare for the NBA. U of I coach Brad Underwood said in a press release that he understood the decision and that he and Leron had been talking about his future plans since the end of the season. Black led the team in scoring this year and has already earned his degree from the university.
