Taylorville Boys Basketball Get Convincing Win over Charleston

Jordan Moats had 12 in the 4th quarter and Taylorville put 4 players in double figures to finish off the season sweep over Charleston tonight. THS had to weather the storm from the Trojans 2 different times late in this one. Charleston brought it within 1 point but THS held on and got their 5th Apollo Conference victory, 75-66.

Tornadoes head coach Ryan Brown said his team, which typically relies heavily on the 3-ball to keep them in games, found a way to win this one attacking the basket and feeding their “big man”.

Coach Brown said he likes where his team is at with their overall play after this win.

THS' next game is Friday at Effingham to finish out the regular season as well as attempt to avenge an earlier season loss against the conference leaders.
