The following court cases were heard in Christian County Court on 07/20/2026.

Eric R. Welge – Charged with aggravated DUI on a revoked or suspended license. Per agreement, a sentencing hearing is set for 08/21/2026.
Jimmy D. Abberley – Charged with meth possession (Less than 5 grams) and theft valuing up to $300. Abberley appeared in custody, and pleads guilty to the possession charge. The matter of theft was dismissed per plea. Sentencing hearing is scheduled for 08/25/2026 and an order of detention remains in place.
Paul E. Allen – Charged with domestic battery causing bodily harm. Allen appeared in custody and was released on furlough to Sara Bush Hospital. Allen has been ordered to return immediately to jail upon leaving the hospital. Status hearing is set for 08/24/2026.
Matthew G. Beck – Charged with meth possession (Less than 5 grams). Deendant appeared via ZOOM call from jail, First appearance with counsel is set for 07/23/2026 and the order of detention remains in effect.
Nicholas L. Cox – Guilty of aggravated fleeing of police going 21 MPH over the speed limit. Matter has been reset for pretrial on 08/25/26.
Stephen N. Durbin – Charged with theft with intent to control property valued between $500 and $10K. Status hearing has been set for 08/25/2026.
Matthew D. Fallacaro – Charged with possession of meth (Less than 5 grams). Fallacaro arrived late, quashed a potential bench warrant, and a pretrial is now set for 09/15/26.
Caydin D. Gaddis – Charged with aggravated domestic battery. Gaddis appeared in custody, the matter has been reset for pretrial on 07/28/2026. Court also found that treatment has not eliminated the risk of threat to the victim and an order for detention remains in effect.
Shane P. Hargis – Charged with aggravated battery against a victim aged 60-years-old or older and possession of a stolen vehicle. Hargis appeared via ZOOM call today. Pretrial is set for 09/11/2026.
Stephan C. Jordan – Charged with domestic battery resulting in bodily harm. Pretrial is set for 08/25/2026.
Emileigh K. King – Charged with manufacturing and delivering between 15 and 100 grams of fentanyl meth delivery between 5 and 15 grams. King also has been found guilty of possessing between 5 and 15 grams of meth. Matter reset for 08/10/2026.
Katelyn A. Melvin – Charged with aggravated battery against a victim 60-years-old or older and also charged with aggravated battery using a deadly weapon. Pretrial release conditions have been set in place, and pretrial is now scheduled for 09/04/2026.
Stephen C. Peck – Charged with aggravated home fraud. Peck waived formal arraignment and pleaded not guilty. Peck now demands a trial by jury. Pretrial has been set for 09/11/2026.
Derrick Willis – Charged with criminal damage to property valuing between $10K and $100K. Pretrial is set for 09/11/2026.
