Christian County Court Cases 9/5/17

These are the results of the following court cases heard in the Christian County Court on Tuesday, September 5th:

 

17CF098 - Paul E. Allen - Criminal Damage to Property Between $500 and $10,000 and Domestic Battery - Petition to Revoke / Pre-trial. Also 17CM105 - Battery. Defense denies allegations for Petition to Revoke. Next pre-trial scheduled for September 15 at 10 a.m.

 

17CM115 - Kaley J. Armstrong - Retail Theft Less Than $300 - First Appearance. She does not appear. Warrant issued.

 

17CF153 - Josh E. Bain - 4 Counts of Narcotics Possession - Preliminary Hearing. Also 15CF226 - Threatening a Public Official - Petition to Revoke / Pre-trial. Defense waives preliminary hearing in 17CF153. Formal arraignment is waived, defense pleads not guilty and requests trial by jury. Jury trial set for November. State has made an offer to defendant. Pre-trial scheduled for October 2 at 10 a.m., offer will expire on that date.

 

17CM112 - Dustin J. Benedict - Disorderly Conduct and Resisting a Peace Officer - First Appearance. Charges were read. Public defender is appointed. Next court date scheduled for October 20 at 10 a.m.

 

17CF111 - Justin M. Bright - Domestic Battery with a Prior and Aggravated Battery in a Public Place - Pre-trial. Also, 17CF109 - Criminal Trespassing to Residence with Person Present and 2 Counts of Battery, 17CF008 - Possession of Meth Less Than 5 Grams - Petition to Revoke / Pre-trial, and multiple traffic charges. Jury trial continued. Pre-trial only scheduled for October 16 at 10 a.m.

 

16CF229 - Brian Ferguson -  Home Invasion with a Dangerous Weapon and Residential Arson - Motion to Reconsider. Filed a motion to reduce his sentence. Hearing scheduled for October 2 at 11 a.m.

 

17CF165 - Joseph L. Ishmael - Residential Burglary and Theft Between $10,000 and $100,000 - Preliminary Hearing. Also 17CF142 - Aggravated Domestic Battery, Domestic Battery with a Prior, and Criminal Trespassing to Resident with a Person Present. Defense waives preliminary hearing in both cases. Formal arraignment is waived, defense pleads not guilty. Jury trial set for November, pre-trial set for October 23 at 10 a.m.

 

13CF178 - Adam J. Kee - Theft Between $500 and $10,000 - Petition to Revoke / Pre-trial. Next court date scheduled for November 16 at 10 a.m.

 

17CF148 - Rebecca E. Miller - 2 Counts of Narcotics Possession - Preliminary Hearing. Defense waives preliminary hearing and bond agreement has been reached. Trial by jury scheduled for December, pre-trial scheduled for November 20 at 10 a.m. Both sides have agreed to $10,000 bond.

 

16CF092 - Danielle E. Patnode - Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of a Syringe / Needle / etc. - Petition to Revoke / Pre-trial. Also 16CM083 - Retail Theft Less Than $300. Defendant looking to get into treatment. Next court date scheduled for September 8 at 10 a.m.

 

17CM059 - Jeremy E. Reiss - Retail Theft Less Than $300 - Appearance with Counsel. Formal arraignment is waived. Pre-trial scheduled for October 5 at 10 a.m.

 

17CF050 - Destiny R. Rickman - Possession of Meth Less Than 5 Grams - Pre-trial. Also 16CF224 - Possession of Meth Less Than 5 Grams and 16CL004 - Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Defendant has found a spot in a drug treatment center. Pre-trial scheduled for November 9 at 10 a.m.

 

17CM117 - Shaylynn P. Rockford - Domestic Battery - First Appearance. Charge was read. Public defender appointed. Next court date scheduled for October 5 at 10 a.m.
