Nola Mae (Vincent) LeFever, 81, of Palmer, will forever be remembered for her love and devotion to her family and friends. Nola passed away on November 19, 2019 at 7:55 p.m. at Life’s Journey Senior Living Center in Taylorville. Nola was born on October 26, 1938 in her family’s home in rural Christian County to Hester Ann (West) Vincent and Charles Vincent. She married Leland LeFever on March 24, 1957 in Stonington.

With family always being in the forefront of her life, that dedication carried on for many many years. From being the youngest of the ten surviving children, to having her own four children onto her twelve grandchildren and then four great-grandchildren. Her lifetime dedication to her family continues on while bringing her children up in the United Methodist Church of Morrisonville. Nola also worked daily hand in hand with her husband on their farm outside of Palmer, driving the tractors, trucks, delivering grain to and fro, preparing all the meals and keeping her family life moving along. In the early years of their family, they kept Steve and Susie entertained by being a part of the Twist n Twirl Square Dance Club, numerous camping trips all over the United States with the TnT Camping Club and following the older two children in the school activities. Continuing on their family tradition of traveling when the second half of their family arrived, they kept Sara and Stacey entertained with traveling throughout the United States and following them in their sporting activities and musical activities with the school. Nola lived life to the fullest daily, for example by never passing up a chance to ride any water ride with her girls, starting each ride by laughing and yelling, “ARE YOU READY?!?!”.

Nola’s love of her family will shine on for many years through her living legacy; four children, twelve grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She is survived by her children; Steve LeFever of Morrisonville, Susan (Joe) Saputo of Rochester, Sara (Jason) Wake of Tovey and Stacey (Tom) Kirkman of Williamsville.
