The Christian County Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests to Regional Radio News on Friday:

26 year old Patrick Copelin of Bullpit was arrested on Thursday on a charge of residential burglary. 

42 year old Charlotte Delacruz of Taylorville was arrested on Thursday on a charge of possession of methamphetamine.

38 year old Jeremy Stark of Pana was arrested on Thursday on a charge of residential burglary, and theft.

Linda Allen of Tovey was in an accident on December 23rd at 4:50 in the afternoon. According to the accident report, Tovey was traveling westbound on 1500 North Road near 830 East when a deer ran into the roadway. Tovey was unable to avoid striking the deer, and no injuries were reported.

16 year old Gabrielle Foster of Palmer was in an accident on December 26th at 6:14 in the evening. According to the accident report, Foster was traveling southbound on county highway 5. Foster lost control of the vehicle and skidded off the road into the west ditch. Upon striking the ditch, Foster overturned and came to a rest on the topside of the vehicle. Foster refused medical treatment on the scene.

21 year old Andrew Durbin of Morrisonville was in an accident on December 24th at 9:50 at night. According to the accident report, Durbin was north bound on County Highway 5 a ½ mile south of 1000 North Road when a deer ran into the roadway. Durbin was unable to avoid striking the deer, and no injuries were reported.

16 year old Sway Denton of Pana was in an accident on December 27th at 11:50 at night. According to the accident report, Denton was west bound on county road 250 north. At 2600 East, Denton struck a tree limb in the roadway. Denton’s vehicle spun sideways and entered the south ditch. Denton came to a rest in the roadway facing south. There were no injuries reported.

18 year old Noah Merrifield of Pana was in an accident on December 3rd at 8:35 in the evening. According to the accident report, Merrifield was traveling eastbound on 250 North road and went through the crossing of 2500 E road. Merrifield lost control of his vehicle and drove off the roadway before hitting a ditch and coming to a rest. There were no injuries reported.

35 year old Jacob Mosely of Pana was in an accident on December 5th at 5:05 in the evening. According to the accident report, Mosely was traveling south on Route 51 when a deer ran into the roadway and was struck by Mosely’s vehicle. There was damage to the front end of the vehicle, no injuries were reported.

32 year old Chase Dickey of Taylorville was in an accident on December 15th at 10:35 at night. According to the accident report, Dickey was traveling Eastbound on 1685 North at 1775 East. Dickey stated that he dropped his cell phone and when he went to grab it he drove off the roadway striking a tree. No injuries were reported at the time of the accident.

40 year old Philip Fugnitti of Pawnee was in an accident on December 16th. Fungnitti was northbound on Township road 00 east half a mile south of Illinois Route 104. According to the accident report, a deer ran into the path of Fugnitti who struck the deer causing damage to the front end of his vehicle.

65 year old Kenneth Carnduff of Bon Aqua Tennessee was in an accident December 15th at 2:16 in the afternoon. According to the accident report, Cundiff  was traveling south on 930 East Road just north of 1465 North when a deer approached the roadway causing Carnduff to leave the roadway. Cundiff lost control of his vehicle and struck a tree and a bush before coming to a rest.

32 year old Justin Chamberlain of Pana was in an accident on December 16th at 8 in the morning. According to the accident report, Chamberlain was northbound on Pana Township road 2100 East. Chamberlain’s breaks malfunctioned and locked up. Chamberlain then skidded into the left ditch and overturned. No injuries were reported. 

44 year old Chad Eddy of Dawson was in an accident on December 14th at 5 in the afternoon. According to the accident report, Eddy was traveling southbound on county highway 22 north of Mt. Auburn Township Road 2450 North. A deer ran into the roadway and Eddy swerved to miss the deer and ran off the road to the west. There were no injuries reported.
