The Christian County Sheriff’s office reported the following arrests to Regional Radio News;

20 year old Trenton A. Dawdy of Hillsboro was arrested Wednesday for illegal consumption.

29 year old William E. Simmons of Taylorville was arrested Wednesday for domestic battery.

The Christian County Sheriff’s office responded to a vehicle accident on Wednesday evening on County Highway 5 near 1840 N.  A SUV driven by 30 year old William J. Davis of Bulpitt was headed south when he hit a deer.  The driver lost control and came to rest after he hit a tree.  Davis was able to drive away from the scene.
