The Shelby County Sheriff's Office reports the following arrests and accidents to Regional Radio News:

Shelby County Deputies were called out on the morning of May 2nd for a one vehicle accident in Rose Township.  Police investigated an accident with no occupants on the scene at 1800E/1000N.  After investigation the driver was identified as 41 year old Leiff A. Leonberger of Shelbyville.  Leonberger was traveling westbound when he disobeyed a stop sign and drove across 1800E, crashing into a large ditch on the west embankment.  A passenger identified as 40 year old Hillary L. Haney of Shelbyville was taken by a passing motorist to HSHS Good Shepherd Hospital with injuries.  Leonberger turned himself in and was charged with leaving the scene of a personal injury accident and disobeying a stop sign.  

31 year old Jeremy D. Kay of Shelbyville was arrested the morning of May 3rd for an active arrest warrant out of Christian County, driving while license revoked, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, operating vehicle with a suspended registration due to insurance, and unlawful display on a vehicle of a license plate after a traffic stop at 1150N/750E. 46 year old Chad R. Hammond of Shelbyville was also arrested in the traffic stop for possession of methamphetamine. 

22 year old Braydon A. Stoneburner of Effingham was arrested the morning of May 3rd for driving while license suspended after a traffic stop at 2050E/700N.

33 year old Blake R. Durbin of Shelbyville was arrested the evening of May 3rd for driving under the influence after authorities responded to a single vehicle accident at County Road 1150N/2077E.  

28 year old Rebecca A. Morrison of Shelbyville was arrested the morning of May 11th for criminal damage--vehicle and no valid insurance after reports of a call of someone damaging a vehicle at 1094N/1800E. 

25 year old Jessica M. Decker of Sullivan was arrested the morning of May 15th on an active arrest warrant out of another county and possession of methamphetamine <5 grams.
