The Christiann County Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests to Regional Radio News on Tuesday:

29 year old Julie Davis of Vandalia was arrested on Monday on a county warrant.

The Taylorville Police Department reported the following arrests to Regional Radio News on Tuesday:

23 year old Anthony Chavez of Taylorville was arrested on Sunday on a charge of resisting/obstructing a peace officer, disorderly conduct, and public intoxication.

38 year old Ricky Dow of Toledo and 56 year old Cynthia Brandt of Taylorville were in an accident on March 7th. According to the police report, Brandt was traveling westbound on Route 29 towards the intersection of East Main Cross. Dow was stopped facing east at a traffic light on east park street. Brandt traveled through the intersection, and Dow began to turn left. Dow failed to yield and both vehicles collided in the middle of the intersection. Brandt received damage to the front end of her vehicle. Dow received damage to the front passenger side bumper of his vehicle. There were no injuries reported. 

31 year old Abraham Grigsby of Taylorville was in an accident on March 15th. According to the police report, Grigsby was traveling eastbound in the 600 block of East Elm Street in Taylorville. Grigsby struck a parked vehicle causing major damage to the front end of both his, and the parked car. Grigsby was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol.
