Police Blotter

The Christian County Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests to Regional Radio News on Friday:

 

26 year old Patrick Copelin of Bullpit was arrested on Thursday on a charge of residential burglary. 

 

42 year old Charlotte Delacruz of Taylorville was arrested on Thursday on a charge of possession of methamphetamine.

 

38 year old Jeremy Stark of Pana was arrested on Thursday on a charge of residential burglary, and theft.

Linda Allen of Tovey was in an accident on December 23rd at 4:50 in the afternoon. According to the accident report, Tovey was traveling westbound on 1500 North Road near 830 East when a deer ran into the roadway. Tovey was unable to avoid striking the deer, and no injuries were reported.

 

16 year old Gabrielle Foster of Palmer was in an accident on December 26th at 6:14 in the evening. According to the accident report, Foster was traveling southbound on county highway 5. Foster lost control of the vehicle and skidded off the road into the west ditch. Upon striking the ditch, Foster overturned and came to a rest on the topside of the vehicle. Foster refused medical treatment on the scene.

 

21 year old Andrew Durbin of Morrisonville was in an accident on December 24th at 9:50 at night. According to the accident report, Durbin was north bound on County Highway 5 a ½ mile south of 1000 North Road when a deer ran into the roadway. Durbin was unable to avoid striking the deer, and no injuries were reported.

 

16 year old Sway Denton of Pana was in an accident on December 27th at 11:50 at night. According to the accident report, Denton was west bound on county road 250 north. At 2600 East, Denton struck a tree limb in the roadway. Denton’s vehicle spun sideways and entered the south ditch. Denton came to a rest in the roadway facing south. There were no injuries reported.

 

The Taylorville Police Department reported the following arrests to Regional Radio News on Friday:

 

22 year old Brianna Maness of Vandalia was arrested on Thursday on a charge for retail theft.
