Area Arrests and Accidents 11/13/18

The Christian County Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests and accidents to Regional Radio News on Tuesday:

 

20 year old Cynthia Jeter of Milstadt was arrested on Friday on a charge of aggravated unlawful use of a weapon, driving on a suspended or revoked license, and possession of cannabis.

 

25 year old Freida McCauley of Morrisonville was arrested on Tuesday on a charge of retail theft.

 

23 year old Kailin Henry of Blue Mound was arrested on Saturday on a charge of speeding 30-39 miles per hour over the limit.

 

33 year old Daniel Shimkus of Springfield was arrested on Sunday on a charge of retail theft.

 

40 year old Phillip Daugherty of Taylorville was arrested on Sunday on a charge of failure to appear or answer question.

 

73 year old Mark Zepin of Kincaid was arrested on Friday on a charge of aggravated criminal sexual abuse.

 

46 year old Terry Biggs of Assumption was in an accident on November 12th at 1:48 in the morning. According to the accident report, Biggs was traveling south on US 51. He swerved to avoid hitting a deer on the roadway and struck the guard rail. Biggs refused medical attention.

 

76 year old TK Sederwall of Decatur was in an accident on November 12th at 5:32 in the afternoon. According to the accident report, Sederwall was south bound on 2025 east road.Sederwall did not stop an the intersection and continued south into a field striking a ditch, and coming to a rest in a field. 

 

16 year old Austin Vaughn on Taylorville was in an accident on November 10th at 12:56 in the afternoon. According to the accident report, Vaughn was eastbound on township road 1200 N when he lost control on an icy roadway. Vaughn struck a ditch off the roadway, and then hit a telephone pedestal and utility pole. 

 

58 year old Shelly Page of Buffalo was in an accident on November 9th at 6:16 in the evening. According to the accident report, page was traveling northbound on 875 East road approaching the T intersection of 2300 north road. Page traveled through the intersection without coming to a stop due to ice, and came to a rest in a cornfield. 

 

The Taylorville Police department reported the following arrests and accidents to Regional Radio News on Tuesday:

 

25 year old Freida McCauley of Taylorville was arrested on Tuesday on a Christian County Warrant.

 

A 16 year old male juvenile was arrested on Sunday on a charge of criminal damage to property and resisting arrest.

 

25 year old Michelle Dixon of Taylorville and 42 year old Stefanie Kent of Taylorville were in an accident on November 2nd at 4:39 in the afternoon. According to the accident report, both units were traveling eastbound on East Park street. Kent came toa slow stop at the traffic light of east main cross and east main park. Dixon mistakenly pressed the gas pedal, instead of the brake, and struck the rear bumper of Kent’s vehicle. Both units were able to drive away from the scene.

 

20 year old Chloe Simmons of Stonington was in an accident on November 10th at 11:04 in the morning. Simmons was traveling east on route 48 and was passing through the intersection of route 48 and shumway street. Simmons swerved to miss a pot hole, and went of the roadway striking a tree, and then falling into a ditch. Simmons’ vehicle had to be towed from the scene.
