The Christian County Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests and accidents to Regional Radio News on Friday:

24 year old Quinten Christopher of Edinburg was arrested on Thursday on a charge of possession of methamphetamine.

58 year old Shawn Young of Nokomis was in an accident on October 25th at 6:58 in the morning. According to the accident report, Young was traveling northbound in the northbound lanes on Illinois Route 29 near County Highway 23. A deer entered the roadway and Young was unable to avoid striking the animal and received front end damage. 

84 year old Jerry Moomey of Owaneco was in an accident on October 25th at 6:15 in the morning. According to the accident report, Moomey was traveling northbound on Township Road 1600 east near Township road 1100 north when a deer entered the roadway. Moomey was unable to avoid striking the deer and received front end damage.

49 year old William Hopper of Pana was in an accident on October 25th at 7:06 in the evening. According to the accident report, Hopper was traveling southeast on Illinois Route 29 when a deer entered the roadway from the east. Hopper struck the deer, and went into an out of control spin out, and came to a rest in the ditch on the west side of Illinois Route 29.
