Area Arrests/Accidents 7/31/18

The Christian County Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests and accidents to Regional Radio News on Tuesday:

 

32 year old Skyler Myers of Taylorville was arrested on Monday on a charge of possession of a controlled substance, retail theft, and driving on a suspended or revoked license.

 

37 year old John Brilley of Pana was arrested on Monday on a charge of methamphetamine precursor.

 

43 year old Matthew Harden of Owaneco was arrested on Monday on a charge of theft, and deception.

 

The Taylorville Police Department reported the following arrests and accidents to Regional Radio News on Tuesday:

 

22 year old Connor Lingl of Taylorville was in an accident on July 28th. Unit 2, a trailer attatched to a motor vehicle, was parked near the Christian County Fairgrounds. Lingl was traveling eastbound approaching the trailer, and struck the back of the trailer. According to the accident report, it caused damage to the front end of Lingl’s vehicle, and the rear lights and lift gate on the trailer. Upon further investigation, Lingl was found to be driving under the influence of alcohol, and was arrested. Lingl refused medical attention, and there were no passengers involved.

 

66 year old Janet Grundy of Taylorville was in an accident on July 27th. According to the accident report, there was a legally parked vehicle in the 200 block of West Franklin Street. Grundy was traveling east on Franklin Street and drifted over and struck the parked vehicle. Both vehicles had to be towed from the scene. Grundy refused medical attention, and there were no passengers involved in the accident.
