Carls tried to fit the turn without striking Eiskant’s vehicle, but could not avoid his vehicle and struck it. A witness behind Eiskant’s vehicle told police that she believed the fire truck came around the corner fast, but also that she believed Eiskant’s vehicle was over the white line at the intersection.
