Area Arrests/Accidents 5/4/18

On Friday, the Taylorville Police Department reported the following accident to Regional Radio News:

 

19-year-old Kiersten R. Livingston of Taylorville was driving southbound on N. Cheney St. Wednesday behind 43-year-old Jean A. Oller of Taylorville. Oller was stopped for traffic and Livingston did not reduce speed and rear-ended Oller’s vehicle. The passenger in Oller’s vehicle suffered a minor injury but refused medical treatment. Livingston was cited for Failure to Reduce Speed to Avoid an Accident.

 

On Friday, the Pana Police Department reported the following arrest to Regional Radio News:


45-year-old Shawn B. Harshini of Pana was arrested Thursday for Failing to Reduce Speed to Avoid an Accident, Operating an Uninsured Vehicle, and Leaving the Scene of an Accident.


On Friday, the Pana Police Department reported the following accident to Regional Radio News:


58-year-old Leslie R. Aucoin of Pana was facing southbound on Locust St. at 2nd St. Wednesday. 74-year-old Barbara K. Stevenson of Pana was behind Aucoin on Locust St. Aucoin began backing up to avoid a semi tractor trailer turning northbound onto Locust from 2nd in front of Aucoin’s vehicle. Aucoin backed into Stevenson’s vehicle.

 

On Friday, the Christian County Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests to Regional Radio News:


20-year-old Joshua E. Boyd of Ocala, FL was arrested Wednesday for Criminal Damage to Property and Consumption of Liquor as a Minor.


40-year-old Orville B. Craig of Kincaid was arrested Thursday on a Bond Forfeiture warrant.


On Friday, the Christian County Sheriff’s Office reported the following accident to Regional Radio News:


17-year-old Andrew S. Duby of Morrisonville was driving southwest on Route 48 Wednesday when he traveled off the roadway to the right and into the ditch. Duby struck the ditch and overturned, coming to rest on the driver’s side of the vehicle. Duby and his passenger refused medical treatment on scene. Duby’s vehicle was towed from the scene.
