Area Arrests/Accidents 4/18/18

On Wednesday, the Taylorville Police Department reported the following accident to Regional Radio News:

 

67-year-old Anna M. Chance of Taylorville was driving westbound on 1600 N. Rd. Thursday turning south onto Route 29. 46-year-old Melody A. Fergusin of Taylorville was driving northbound on Route 29. Chance did not see Fergusin approaching and pulled out onto Route 29. Fergusin struck Chance’s vehicle. Chance was taken to Taylorville Memorial Hospital via ambulance, while Fergusin took private transportation to St. Johns Hospital. Chance was cited for the accident.

 

On Wednesday, the Christian County Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests to Regional Radio News:


40-year-old Kristy L. Oller of Kincaid was arrested Tuesday on a Bond Forfeiture warrant. Bond is set at $5,000.


38-year-old Kelly L. Flynn of Carthage, IL was arrested Tuesday on a Bond Forfeiture warrant. Bond is set at $6,000.


46-year-old Sherrie L. Allcorn of Springfield was arrested Tuesday for Manufacturing / Delivery of Controlled Substances.


28-year-old Phillip D.X. Jordan of Springfield was arrested Tuesday for Possession of a Controlled Substance, and Manufacturing / Delivery of a Controlled Substance.


On Wednesday, the Christian County Sheriff’s Office reported the following accident to Regional Radio News:


19-year-old Sarah A. Armstrong of Taylorville was driving northbound on 425 E. Rd. Wednesday. At about 2010 North, Armstrong swerved to miss a deer in the roadway and went off the east side of the road, into the grass. She hit a utility pole and came to rest. She was taken to Taylorville Memorial Hospital via ambulance.
