On Friday, the Taylorville Police Department reported the following accidents to Regional Radio News:

43-year-old Joshua L. Kelly of Ramsey was driving on Route 29 on March 30 when he says he hit a deer. His vehicle was towed due to major front end damage.

71-year-old Mary F. Duckworth of Tovey was exiting from a private parking lot onto Spresser St. when she did not see the westbound vehicle of 33-year-old Courtney R. Reber of Taylorville. Reber struck Duckworth’s vehicle, and both vehicles had to be towed from the scene. Duckworth was cited for the accident.

41-year-old Sheri M. Thompson of Teutopolis was driving southbound on Route 29 Monday when a deer ran into the roadway south of the lake. Thompson struck the deer causing front-end damage to her vehicle.
