On Thursday, the Taylorville Police Department reported the following arrests to Regional Radio News:
31-year-old Danielle Weinert of Taylorville was arrested Wednesday for Driving While License Suspended.
49-year-old Debbie Horn of Taylorville was arrested Wednesday on a Christian County Bond Forfeiture warrant. Bond is set at $10,000.
On Thursday, the Taylorville Police Department reported the following accidents to Regional Radio News:
28-year-old Samantha K. Williams of Ramsey was driving southbound on Shumway Monday when she failed to yield at the intersection with Main Cross St. While driving through the intersection, Williams struck the vehicle driven by 18-year-old Alexis K. Shirley of Taylorville who was traveling westbound on Main Cross. Williams was cited for Failure to Yield the Right of Way.
23-year-old David M. Brown of Stonington was stopped at the intersection of Route 104 and Route 29 Monday. Brown was behind 51-year-old Judith L. Pearson of Stonington. Brown could not stop in time and hit Pearson’s vehicle from behind. Brown told police that icy roads caused his vehicle to not be able to stop. He was cited for the accident.
On Thursday, the Pana Police Department reported the following arrests to Regional Radio News:
22-year-old Joshua T.R. Whitaker of Macon, IL was cited Wednesday for Driving While License Suspended.
32-year-old Jarod A. Kohute of Pana was cited Wednesday for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
18-year-old Cheyenne N. Palmer of Herrick was arrested Wednesday on a valid warrant. She was also cited for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
On Thursday, the Pana Police Department reported the following accidents to Regional Radio News:
69-year-old Larry L. Worker of Pana was stopped at the traffic light at the intersection of Poplar and First Streets Wednesday when he was rear-ended by the vehicle driven by 71-year-old Carolyn S. Bendorf of St. Peter, IL.
37-year-old Travis L. Nicol of Pana was driving northbound on Sheridan St. Wednesday when the vehicle driven by 30-year-old Tonya M. Ellenberg of Pana struck the side of his vehicle. The crash caused Nicol’s vehicle to leave the roadway and strike a utility pole. Nicol’s vehicle was towed from the scene. Ellenberg was cited for Failure to Reduce Speed to Avoid an Accident.

36-year-old Holly D. Durbin of Taylorville was arrested Wednesday for Retail Theft Less Than $300.
34-year-old Ashley N. Bain of Pana was arrested Wednesday for Possession of Methamphetamine and Meth Delivery.
35-year-old Matthew R. Myers of Pana was arrested Wednesday for Possession of Methamphetamine and Meth Delivery.
30-year-old Amanda J. Leach of Edinburg was arrested Wednesday on a Bond Forfeiture warrant. Bond is set at $10,000.
28-year-old Audrie L. Leach of Oconee was arrested Wednesday on a Bond Forfeiture warrant. Bond is set at $3,000.
