Area Arrests/Accidents 1/3/18

On Wednesday, the Pana Police Department reported the following arrests to Regional Radio News:

 

20-year-old Jarred L. Lawrence of Pana was arrested Friday on Christian and Shelby County warrants.

 

22-year-old Andrea N. Dixon of Rosamond was arrested Friday on a Christian County warrant.

 

On Wednesday, the Pana Police Department reported the following accident to Regional Radio News:

 

41-year-old Richard L. Baker of Formoso, Kansas struck a power pole guide wire Saturday causing damage to his vehicle. Baker was cited for Improper Parking on Roadway, Failure to Reduce Speed for an Accident, and Driving While License Suspended. His passenger, 30-year-old Ashley N. Getz of Pana was cited for Illegal Transportation as a Passenger.

 

26-year-old Jordan D. Miles of Nokomis was backing from a driveway in the 500 block of N. Poplar on Sunday when he struck the parked vehicle of 30-year-old John J. Stivers of Pana. Stivers’ vehicle was parked across the street and had moderate damage. Miles’ vehicle had minor damage.

 

46-year-old Rebecca A. Russell of Pana had her car parked at Cindy’s Lounge on Monday. She reported to police that an unknown vehicle struck the front passenger side of her vehicle and left the scene.

 

A 16-year-old male was driving northbound on Chestnut St. at 6th St. Tuesday. 17-year-old Larissa D. Swisher of Assumption was driving eastbound on 6th St. The 16-year-old says his brakes failed and he was unable to stop at the intersection, causing a collision with Swisher’s vehicle. The 16-year-old was cited for Disobeying Traffic Control Device.

 

On Wednesday, the Christian County Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests to Regional Radio News:

 

39-year-old Damon J. Chamness of Kincaid was arrested Tuesday on a Bond Forfeiture warrant. Bond is set at $3,000.

 

 

44-year-old Carrie M. Ethridge of Mountain Home, Arkansas was arrested Tuesday on a Bond Forfeiture warrant. Bond is set at $1,500.

 

 

24-year-old Zachary P. Clutter of Pana was arrested Tuesday for Domestic Battery.

 

 

40-year-old Nicholas R. Dooley of Nokomis was arrested Tuesday on a Bond Forfeiture warrant. Bond is set at $5,000.

 

 

On Wednesday, the Christian County Sheriff’s Office reported the following accidents to Regional Radio News:

 

 

A 16-year-old was driving westbound on Route 104 Tuesday. She turned onto 1075 E Rd. While turning, she went into the oncoming lane and hit a UPS truck driven by 29-year-old Brian A. Seaton of Springfield head-on. Seaton was stopped at the stop sign on 1075 E. Rd. at Route 104. No one was hurt. The 16-year-old was issued a citation for Improper Lane Usage.

 

 

52-year-old Jesus M. Villar, Jr. of Shelbyville was driving southbound on 2600 E. Rd. Tuesday, approaching the intersection with 100 N. Rd. 34-year-old Christina M. Gibson of Chula Vista, California was driving eastbound on 100 N. Rd. approaching the same intersection. There are no stop signs from either of the directions the two were coming towards the intersection. Gibson struck the passenger side of Villar’s vehicle. No one was hurt.
