Area Arrests/Accidents 12/13/17

On Wednesday, the Taylorville Police Department reported the following arrest to Regional Radio News:

 

34-year-old Sara L. Redfern of Taylorville was arrested Tuesday for Possession of Meth Less Than 5 Grams, Possession of Controlled Substances, and Driving While License Suspended or Revoked.

 

On Wednesday, the Taylorville Police Department reported the following accident to Regional Radio News:

 

17-year-old Adam M. Downing of Taylorville stated that on Friday, he and three 16-year-old passengers were doing doughnuts in the field near Illinois Route 29 and 1600 N Rd. Downing said as they went to turn, he lost control of the vehicle, and the truck rolled on its side, causing airbags to deploy. No one was hurt. Downing was issued a citation for reckless driving, and the vehicle was towed from the scene.

 

On Wednesday, the Pana Police Department reported the following arrests to Regional Radio News:


29-year-old Keisha N. Anderson of Pana was arrested December 6th on a Christian County warrant.


26-year-old Cole Y. Shoraga of Pana was arrested Thursday on Christian and Shelby County warrants.


51-year-old James L. Vaughn of Pana was cited Saturday for Operating an Uninsured Vehicle.


22-year-old Hailey J. Collins of Pana was cited Sunday for Improper Lane Usage and Operating an Uninsured Vehicle.


61-year-old Brad W. Baker of Louisville, Illinois was arrested Tuesday for DUI - Alcohol.


24-year-old Krysten L. Beck of Shelbyville was cited Tuesday for Operating an Uninsured Vehicle.


49-year-old Jeff J. Klein of Tower Hill was arrested Wednesday for Possession of Methamphetamine.


On Wednesday, the Pana Police Department reported the following accidents to Regional Radio News:


80-year-old Frances Allen of Pana was backing onto Ninth St. from the 700 block of Fair Ave. December 6th. The vehicle of 77-year-old Patricia A. Holthaus was legally parked facing east on the south side of Ninth St. Allen struck Holthaus’ vehicle while backing. No one was hurt.


62-year-old Katherine A. Berner of Ramsey was in the Walmart parking lot Friday when she struck a concrete filled steel post, causing major damage to her vehicle. She was not hurt.

 

On Wednesday, the Christian County Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrest to Regional Radio News:


29-year-old Stephanie E. Reber of Taylorville was arrested Tuesday for Violating an Order of Protection.
