Area Arrests/Accidents 11/20/17

On Monday, the Pana Police Department reported the following arrests to Regional Radio News:

 

46-year-old Jeremy L. Rhoades and 43-year-old Tyrone A Powyszynski, both of Pana were both issued citations following a traffic stop on Thursday. Rhoades was cited for Operating an Uninsured Vehicle and Illegal Transportation of Alcohol as a Driver and Powyszynski was cited for Illegal Transportation of Alcohol as a Passenger. The car was also searched for narcotics after an open-air sniff, and illegal contraband was found. Charges are pending following lab analysis from the Illinois State Police.

 

26-year-old David W. Moore, Jr. of Pana was cited Friday for Operating Uninsured Vehicle.

 

On Monday, the Pana Police Department reported the following accident to Regional Radio News:

 

A 16-year-old from Pana was driving northbound on First St. behind 73-year-old Sheila M. Cox of Pana, who was stopped 45-year-old Michael W. Barnes of Pana Thursday. The 16-year-old failed to slow down, rear-ending Cox. That impact took Cox into Barnes’ vehicle. The 16-year-old was cited for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.

 

On Monday, the Christian County Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests to Regional Radio News:


47-year-old Ronnie D. Samson of Taylorville was arrested Friday for Theft.


58-year-old Danny M. Rauch of Decatur was arrested Friday on a Bond Forfeiture warrant. Bond is set at $200.


46-year-old Tammy A. Rogers of Taylorville was arrested Saturday for DUI - Alcohol.
