Area Arrests/Accidents 10/23/17

On Monday, the Taylorville Police Department reported the following arrest to Regional Radio News:

 

28-year-old Anthony M. Holmes of Taylorville was arrested Friday for Possession of Cannabis Between 10 and 30 Grams.

 

On Monday, the Pana Police Department reported the following arrests and incidents to Regional Radio News:


37-year-old Jennifer M. Silvia of Pana was arrested Wednesday for Domestic Battery.


34-year-old Stefanie D. Bailey of Pana was arrested Thursday for Domestic Battery.


A complainant reported the theft of her PlayStation 4, 2 controllers, and approximately 6-8 PlayStation games from her residence. The incident occurred sometime between 1 a.m. and 11 a.m. Wednesday. The case is under investigation.


A complainant reported at approximately 9 p.m. Friday, a window of her home was damaged. Another complainant driving nearby reported damage to a window of his car as he was driving. Both of the damaged windows appeared to be the result of being shot with a BB gun. The case is under investigation.


On Monday, the Pana Police Department reported the following accidents to Regional Radio News:


36-year-old Kelly L. Dressen of Pana was driving on South Poplar Friday when she rear-ended the car driven by 80-year-old Bonnie J. Mitchelson of Taylorville. No one was hurt. Dressen was cited for Failure to Reduce Speed Accident.


31-year-old Stephanie F. Vargas of Ramsey was westbound on 6th St. following 35-year-old Chad K. Guinn. Guinn stopped at the stop sign with Fair. Vargas was distracted by her passenger in the back seat and did not see that Guinn had stopped. Vargas could not stop in time and rear-ended Guinn. No one was hurt.

 

On Monday, the Christian County Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests to Regional Radio News:


46-year-old Donald R. Rickman of Taylorville was arrested Wednesday for Possession of a Controlled Substance, Aggravated Battery of a Police Officer, and Resisting/Obstructing an Officer.


57-year-old Donald R. Fisher of Pana was arrested Friday on a Bond Forfeiture warrant. Bond is set at $2,500.


30-year-old James L. Bradley of Taylorville was arrested Saturday for DUI - Alcohol.
