Area Arrests/Accidents 10/19/17

On Thursday the Taylorville Police Department reported the following arrest to Regional Radio News:

 

A 14-year-old male juvenile was arrested Wednesday for Vehicle Burglary and a curfew violation.

 

On Thursday, the Taylorville Police Department reported the following accidents to Regional Radio News:

 

33-year-old Elijah D. Marley of Taylorville was driving southbound on Route 29 approximately ? of a mile southeast of Pershing Ave. Wednesday when Marley says she swerved to avoid a deer, causing him to lose control of the vehicle and travel off the roadway. Marley’s vehicle came to rest in the trees in the south side of the roadway. Marley refused medical treatment, and the vehicle was towed from the scene.

 

17-year-old Lindsey M. Coy of Taylorville was stopped on Hawley Street at the intersection with Springfield Road Wednesday. Coy moved forward to allow a pedestrian to cross behind her vehicle and she moved into the path of 34-year-old Stacey L. Perdue-Perez of Kincaid. Both units refused medical treatment but indicated they had minor injuries.

 

18-year-old Justin R. Luetzow of Taylorville was driving southbound on Springfield Road behind 62-year-old Allen D. Crist of Taylorville Wednesday. The previous accident had just occured and both turned onto Hawley Street to avoid the crash site. Crist stopped on Hawley Street and Luetzow did not see Crist had stopped and rear-ended his vehicle. No injuries were reported, Luetzow’s vehicle had to be towed from the scene.

 

On Thursday, the Christian County Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests to Regional Radio News:


21-year-old Hannah R. Harden of Jeisyville was arrested Wednesday for Driving While License Suspended / Revoked.
