Area Arrests/Accidents 10/11/17

On Wednesday, the Taylorville Police Department reported the following arrests to Regional Radio News:

 

24-year-old Brady M. Knight and 22-year-old Briar D. Samson both of Taylorville, and 28-year-old Michael T. Morrissey and 21-year-old Tyler Ozga both of Stonington were arrested Tuesday for Retail Theft.

 

On Wednesday, the Pana Police Department reported the following arrest to Regional Radio News:

 

30-year-old Keffery L. Cothern of Pana was arrested Wednesday for Aggravated Battery of a Peace Officer. No bond has been set.

 

 

On Tuesday, the Pana Police Department reported the following accident to Regional Radio News:


64-year-old Martin J. Snow of Herrick was backing from a parking space on East 3rd St. Tuesday when he hit the vehicle of 25-year-old Devan A. Coss of Tower Hill. No injuries were reported.

 
 

On Wednesday, the Christian County Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests to Regional Radio News:


43-year-old Lawrence E. Coghlan of Taylorville was arrested Tuesday on a Bond Forfeiture warrant. Bond is set at $3,000.


52-year-old Theodore J. Gannon of Pana was arrested Tuesday on a Bond Forfeiture warrant. Bond is set at $1,000.


On Wednesday, the Christian County Sheriff’s Office reported the following accidents to Regional Radio News:


51-year-old Eric J. Horsthemke of Pana was driving southbound on County Highway 7 Monday. Near 1500 North Rd., a deer entered the roadway. Horsthemke could not avoid the deer and struck it. He was not injured.


56-year-old Daniel E. Beeler of Taylorville was driving northbound on Route 48 at County Highway 4 in Stonington on August 31 when an unknown vehicle crossed the railroad tracks and failed to stop at the stop sign, hitting Beeler. That driver continued eastbound on County Highway 4 after the collision. Beeler told police the car was an older, tan-colored, 4-wheel drive pickup. The unknown vehicle was never located.
