Area Arrests/Accidents 10/2/17

On Monday, the Taylorville Police Department reported the following arrests to Regional Radio News:

 

54-year-old Walter D. Harker of Taylorville was arrested Friday for Battery.

 

19-year-old Alexis M. Newlin of Taylorville was arrested Saturday for Criminal Damage to Property and Theft.

 

24-year-old Brady M. Knight of Taylorville was arrested Sunday for Criminal Damage to Property.

 

63-year-old Gerald L. Olive of Taylorville was arrested Sunday for Use of Intoxicating Compounds.

 

46-year-old Jack S. Terrill of Pawnee was arrested Sunday on a Christian County warrant for Aggravated Battery in a Public Place. Bond is set at $25,000.

 

On Monday, the Pana Police Department reported the following arrests to Regional Radio News:


28-year-old Jeremy W. Winter of Pana was arrested September 26 for Criminal Damage to Property.


43-year-old Heather L. Hoover of Pana was arrested Wednesday on a Christian County warrant.


23-year-old Levi T. Simpson was arrested Thursday for Disorderly Conduct and a Sangamon County warrant.


33-year-old Cranston D. Moore and 29-year-old Darrell J. Standard, both of St. Louis, were arrested Saturday for Theft.


On Monday, the Pana Police Department reported the following accident to Regional Radio News:


57-year-old Rexhep Ademi of Pana was backing northbound across Third St. from the south side of the street Wednesday when he backed into a legally parked car owned by 30-year-old Travis W. Dilley on the driver’s side. No one was hurt.

 

On Monday, the Christian County Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests to Regional Radio News:

 

21-year-old Kyler G. Mink of Taylorville was arrested Saturday for Possession of a Controlled Substance.

 

47-year-old Amy J. Clark of Pana was arrested Monday for Driving on a Suspended/Revoked License and Obstructing Justice.

 

On Monday, the Christian County Sheriff’s Office reported the following accidents to Regional Radio News:

 

23-year-old Bridget M. Drea of Taylorville was driving southbound on Route 29 Wednesday when she struck a small animal near 2100 North Rd. causing damage to the vehicle. She was not hurt.

 

58-year-old Richard M. Wheeler of Ramsey was driving southbound on Route 51 Wednesday when he struck a deer near 1780 North Rd. He was not hurt.

 

55-year-old Todd C. Snow of Petersburg was driving westbound on Route 104 Friday. There was a dead deer in the westbound lane at approximately 150 East Rd. He had a trailer that ran over the deer. The trailer came detached when running over the dead deer. He was not hurt.

 

26-year-old Britt M. Burton of Taylorville was driving west on Route 104 Friday when she hit a deer near 175 East Rd. She was not hurt.

 

38-year-old Paul L. Scribner of Pana was driving southbound on Route 51 Friday when he lost control of his vehicle crossing the railroad tracks. He turned the vehicle to the left and entered into the ditch on the east side of the roadway. He struck the ditch embankment and came to a stop. Scribner’s two passengers were taken to Pana Community Hospital.

 

23-year-old Stephanie L. Johnson of Sullivan was driving westbound on 1400 North Rd. in Assumption Township Sunday. She crossed 2500 East Rd. and lost control of her vehicle. She spun in the roadway, entered the north ditch and then overturned in the field. Her car came to rest on its side. She was transported to Decatur Memorial Hospital by Assumption Ambulance.
