On Thursday, the Taylorville Police Department reported the following arrests to Regional Radio News:

50-year-old Cathy L. Cooper of Pana, 40-year-old Phillip E. Wicker of Pana, and 29-year-old Keisha N. Anderson of Pana were arrested Wednesday for Use of Intoxicating Compounds. Cooper was also arrested for Driving While License Suspended.

On Thursday, the Taylorville Police Department reported the following accidents to Regional Radio News:

46-year-old Douglas M. Schierer of Kincaid was driving westbound on Illinois Route 104 Monday when a deer ran into the road. Schierer could not avoid the deer and struck it. He declined medical attention and was able to drive away from the scene.

27-year-old Justin M. Ostermeier of Nokomis was backing northeast from a parking space at McDonald’s Tuesday. 61-year-old Susan M. Reber was driving south in the parking lot and Ostermeier backed into her. No one was injured.
