Area Arrests/Accidents 8/14/17

On Monday, the Pana Police Department reported the following arrests and incident to Regional Radio News:

 

34-year-old Amy Merrifield of Pana was arrested Thursday for Criminal Damage to Property.

 

33-year-old Samuel L. Crow of Pana was arrested Saturday on Montgomery and Fayette County Bond Forfeiture warrants. Bond is set at $3,500.

 

26-year-old Derek W. Massey of Pana was arrested Sunday for Battery.

 

A complainant reported returning to her home on West Washington and finding the front door open on Saturday. The back door to the residence had been forced open. Nothing has been reported missing from the home at this time. The case is under investigation.

 

On Monday, the Pana Police Department reported the following accidents to Regional Radio News:

 

19-year-old Kailey M. Williams of Tower Hill was driving under the canopy at Heritage Health and was turning left to enter the parking area when she hit the northwest brick column. There was no apparent structural damage.

 

A 16-year-old’s car was parked on the south side of Pana High School next to the vehicle of Kimberly Lager of Greenville. The 16-year-old backed out and struck Lager’s vehicle and drove away. The 16-year-old was later located and did not realize they had done damage to Lager’s car.

 

65-year-old Alva J. Allen of Herrick was backing out of a parking spot on West Third. She backed into the vehicle owned by Jon Palmer of Herrick.

 

On Monday, the Christian County Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrest to Regional Radio News:


38-year-old Nathan L. Howell of Taylorville was arrested Sunday on a Bond Forfeiture warrant. Bond is set at $2,000.


On Monday, the Christian County Sheriff’s Office reported the following accident to Regional Radio News:


17-year-old Terra A. Litton of Pana was driving southbound on 2300 E Road at the intersection with 1700 N Road and 59-year-old Jerry J. Wilson of Assumption was traveling eastbound on 1700 N Road. Litton failed to yield for Wilson and Wilson t-boned Litton taking both cars off the road and into the bean field on the southeast side of the intersection. Litton’s car overturned and came to rest of its side. Litton and her 2 passengers were transported to Decatur area hospitals via ambulance. Wilson was not injured.
