Area Arrests/Accidents 7/21/17

On Friday, the Taylorville Police Department reported the following arrest to Regional Radio News:

 

39-year-old Amanda G. Mollet of Taylorville was arrested Thursday on a Christian County warrant, an Effingham County warrant, and Possession of Methamphetamine.

 

On Friday, the Taylorville Police Department reported the following accidents to Regional Radio News:

 

38-year-old Russell E. Durbin of Taylorville was driving northbound on Route 29 on July 13 when he ran off the roadway on the opposite side of the road. He went through a cornfield, exited through a ditch with a culvert, then went across Burnett Drive, through the grassy area, and into the Aldi’s parking lot. Durbin had left the scene but was later located. He was arrested for improper lane usage, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, no valid driver’s license, failure to give aid or information, and DUI.

 

71-year-old Connie F. Ahlberg of Taylorville was driving northbound on Bidwell Street Sunday and had stopped at the intersection with Cherokee. 26-year-old Kevin W. Eson of Taylorville was driving eastbound on Cherokee Street and had stopped at the intersection with Bidwell. Eson proceeded through the intersection and was struck by Ahlberg, who had also started to proceed. Eson’s vehicle had to be towed from the scene.

 

67-year-old Joseph A. Walker of Sullivan was driving northbound in the KFC parking lot Monday and 25-year-old Zachariah P. Korando of Decatur was driving eastbound in the parking lot. Walker hit Korando in the parking lot. Walker’s car had to be towed from the scene.

 

On Friday, the Christian County Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests to Regional Radio News:


41-year-old Mark A. Hedrick of Morrisonville was arrested Thursday on a Bond Forfeiture warrant.


63-year-old Andrew E. Aldrich of Morrisonville was arrested Thursday for DUI and Driving on a Suspended/Revoked License.
