Area Arrests/Accidents 5/17/17

On Wednesday, the Taylorville Police Department reported the following arrests to Regional Radio News:

 

25-year-old Aaron M. Ballion of Taylorville was arrested Tuesday for Battery.

 

48-year-old Troy L. Cota of Taylorville was arrested Tuesday for Disorderly Conduct and Violation of a No Contract Order.

 

39-year-old Natalee Callender of Taylorville was arrested Tuesday for Battery.

 

34-year-old Coral L. Harrison of Taylorville was arrested Tuesday for Driving while License Suspended.

 

33-year-old Jerome H. Mason of Springfield was arrested Tuesday for a Christian County warrant and Obstructing Justice.

 

26-year-old Brandon Emery of Taylorville was arrested Tuesday on a valid IDOC warrant.

 

22-year-old Zachery A. Morgason of Taylorville was arrested Tuesday for Driving while License Suspended, and Operating a Vehicle while Registration is Suspended for Mandatory Insurance Violation.

 

On Wednesday, the Taylorville Police Department reported the following accident to Regional Radio News:


24-year-old Kenya S. Jennings of Decatur was traveling eastbound on Route 48 approaching S. Spresser Street, when she says she encountered loose rock on the roadway, which caused her to lose control of her vehicle. She spun into oncoming traffic and struck the opposite guardrail. She continued to spin and finally stopped after striking the concrete embankment for the railroad overpass. Jennings and her passenger refused medical treatment.

 

On Wednesday, the Pana Police Department reported the following incident to Regional Radio News:


A complainant filed a report that between 10 p.m. Tuesday and 4 a.m. Wednesday, someone slashed the front left on his vehicle, which was located in the 400 block of N. Sheridan Street. No arrest has been made.

 

On Wednesday, the Pana Police Department reported the following accidents to Regional Radio News:


63-year-old John R. Dudra of Taylorville was backing out from a driveway in the 500 block of N. Walnut. 38-year-old Benjamin M. Shuler of Pana was driving south on N. Walnut at the time. Dudra says he did not see Shuler approaching and backed into Shuler.


28-year-old Sara J. Mose of Rosamond was backing out of a parking spot on private property when she cut the corner to early and hit the car of Suzzanna M. Owens of Pana that was located next to Mose’s vehicle.


Two 16-year-old females backed into each other as they backed out of spots in the north parking lot at 201 W. 8th Street.
