Area Arrests/Accidents 5/4/17

On Thursday, the Taylorville Police Department reported the following arrests to Regional Radio News:

 

26-year-old Kristal L. Walker of Taylorville was arrested Wednesday on a Sangamon County warrant.

 

30-year-old Justin M. Bright of Pana was arrested Wednesday for no valid driver’s license and possession of drug paraphernalia.

 

On Thursday, the Pana Police Department reported the following arrests to Regional Radio News:


59-year-old Debbie S. Reynolds was pulled over for a traffic stop by Pana Police Monday. She was arrested on scene for Christian County and Shelby County warrants.


60-year-old Joey L. Shoraga was arrested Monday for domestic battery. He was transported to the Christian County Correctional Center.


43-year-old William E. Lawrence was pulled over for a traffic stop by Pana Police Tuesday. He was arrested and cited for obstructing traffic and driving under the influence of drugs.


On Thursday, the Pana Police Department reported the following accidents to Regional Radio News:


21-year-old Edward A. Brunken was facing south at 2500 East Road at Route 16. 42-year-old Rebecca M. Ishmael pulled up behind Brunken. To allow a semi to turn onto the road, Brunken backed up and hit Ishmael. No injuries were reported.


38-year-old Joel R. Mann was on Washington Street slowing to turn onto Locust Street. 38-year-old Crystal M. Warner was distracted and rear-ended Mann, causing damage to both vehicles. No injuries were reported.

 


On Thursday, the Christian County Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests to Regional Radio News:


31-year-old Joseph M. Besson of Davenport, IA was arrested on a bond forfeiture warrant. Bond is set at $3,000.



On Thursday, the Christian County Sheriff’s Office reported the following accidents to Regional Radio News:


On Wednesday, the homeowner at 1207 Brantley Road called in to report damage to the property, saying part of the culvert in the road was laying in his yard.. 38-year-old Heather L. Davidson says she knew she had hit the culvert but did not think he needed to be reported.


20-year-old Matthew R. Emerson was driving a 1999 Infiniti Sedan northbound on 1000 E. Road. At 170 north, he went off the roadway because there was water and mud on the roadway, causing him to leave the road. The car hit the ditch at the creek and then went into the creek. No injuries were reported.
